Riverside Peranakan Feast

In partnership with The Peranakan Association Singapore (TPAS), Food Capital’s Peranakan Buffet celebrates the richness and heritage of Peranakan culture through traditional flavours, cultural artistry and community storytelling — all by the Singapore River.

This experience is further elevated by the collaboration between Executive Chef David Toh and Chef Shirley Tay. At 79 years young, Chef Shirley remains one of Singapore’s enduring ambassadors of Nyonya cuisine, a living treasure who carries decades of stories, flavours and tradition, along with her light-hearted musical spirit.

Savour rotating menus of Peranakan favourites such as Deep-fried Pomfret with Sambal Chilli, Bakwan Kepiting (crab meatball soup), Kachang Bendi Chincalok (ladies’ fingers with shrimp sauce), and Goreng Assam Udang (prawns in tamarind sauce).

Opening Showcase — 6 January 2026
A special opening showcase, co-curated with TPAS, will feature a kebaya showcase led by Baba Raymond Wong, recipient of the National Heritage Board’s Stewards of Intangible Cultural Heritage Award, soulful performances by The Peranakan Voices choir, and a lively appearance by Chef Shirley Tay, who will also unveil her new recipe collection of age-old Peranakan dishes during the evening. Guests can also browse retail stalls offering authentic kebaya, batik, beaded slippers and Peranakan delicacies.

Friday to Saturday: $112++ per adult | $56++ per child
